Song in a Cup.

swirls.
leaps.
dancers feet.
swift but flies like the stars in the sky.

fishing for more.
the cobwebs twirl
entangling your precious thoughts
until they can speak for you no more.
snapshot
now, we will never forget.

trash
treasure
withered grapes
or raisins you say?
perception has run away.

once again
lost in a cave
emotions found it fix.
pinpricks and candied eyes
sweet little baby, don't you cry
oh what a lie.

silence sings its melodic noise
we put on the lid
and close it up
never to know
there was a song in that cup.
